Nrsimha Caturdasi: Appearance of Lord Nrsimhadeva 2017. Tuesday, May 9th, 2017 is the auspicious appearance day of Lord Nrsimhadeva, the half man (Nara) half lion (Simha) avatar of Lord Krishna. Lord Nrshimhadeva especially appeared to protect the best of the mahajanas (great souls) Prahlada Maharaja and to make sure His devotee Lord Brahma would keep his promise to Hiranyakasipu. To fulfil the promise of Lord Brahma, Lord Nrshimhadeva appeared in the form of neither an animal, neither a man, and neither during the day, or the night. He appeared as half lion, half man, and he appeared during the dusk, to protect Prahalada Maharaja from his demoniac father who wanted to kill him personally, after he tortured, while trying to kill his own son Prahlada, for many months.

Further more there is International Yoga Day on Wednesday the 21st of June. Radhadesh will be organising different events, with different partners, leading up to the World Yoga Day. We will also have the yearly Radhadesh Members Day 2017 on Saturday, June10th and will coincide, like last year, with the opening of a new exposition in the MOSA, Museum Of Sacred Art. Read More...

CARE FOR COWS

We have amazing news, the devotees have been working tirelessly to get permission from the authorities to get permission to build a new cow stable. It was not easy but they did! It is actually amazing. We finally got the permission to build a new cow stable. Now the next part is that we need your help to support the cow stable. Off course we want to build this a soon as possible so Gopinatha’s cows will not be cold during the winter.

International Day of Yoga or World Yoga Day 2017 will be on Wednesday June 21st.

Leading up to that Radhadesh has organised several events with different partners.
